Your dictation stays on your machine.

The short version

RadMyk transcribes your dictation entirely on your computer. Your voice and your reports never leave the device. We cannot hear you, read your reports, or see your patients' data - by design, not by policy.

Audio and dictated text

Recording and transcription run locally on your machine using a bundled speech model. Audio is processed in memory and is not uploaded anywhere. The text RadMyk types for you goes directly into the application you are dictating into; we do not store or transmit it.

Patient information you dictate is therefore never received by us, and RadMyk introduces no PHI processor or business-associate relationship.

What the app does send

Licensing: the app contacts our servers to activate and periodically validate your license. This carries a random installation ID (which identifies the install, not you), your computer's hostname as a device label, and - during your trial - trial-state pings tied to the same installation ID.

Install ping: a one-time anonymous ping when the app is first installed, carrying the installation ID and app version, so we can count installs.

Optional usage statistics: if 'Share usage statistics' is on in Settings, the app sends anonymous daily-active pings and word-count totals. No dictated content is ever included. You can turn this off at any time.

Optional crash reports: if 'Send crash reports' is on in Settings, a diagnostic report is sent when the app or its engine crashes. Reports contain technical state only - never audio, never dictated text. You can turn this off at any time.

Your account

If you buy a license, our licensing site (app.radmyk.com) stores your email address, a verified phone number, your device installation IDs and labels, and your license details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your data. We do not run ads. We do not profile you. We collect the minimum needed to license the software and keep it working.

Data retention and deletion

Account and license records are kept while your license is active. To delete your account data, email support@radmyk.com from the address on the account and we will remove it within 30 days, subject to records we must keep for tax and accounting.
